Our ultimate parent company, Mason Owen & Partners Ltd is a property consultant and they have been serving the business world since 1967, whilst their first insurance business, Mason Owen Financial Services Ltd was first incorporated in March 1988.

The original insurance business concentrated on the property investor sector and though we retain a strong presence in that market, our product range has now expanded to include a range of commercial products in the corporate sector, along with a strong involvement in the provision of legal indemnity insurance and private client related products.

In December 2013 we launched Mason Owen (Specialist Risks) Ltd, now based in Norwich, to concentrate on part of our Legal Indemnity business and our wholesale professional indemnity business.   Business Insurance Services joined the wider Mason Owen Group in June 2019 and we continue to specialise in insurance for the merchant trades.
