Corporate Social Responsibility

As a successful insurance business, we recognise the need to support those members of society who are perhaps less fortunate than ourselves. It is for this reason that Mason Owen Financial Services has decided to support 2 local charities who have been identified and chosen by employees of the company.

The support provided to the individual charities includes financial donations provided by the company, funds raised and donated by employees of Mason Owen Financial Services Ltd and time given to support the charities concerned. More details of the charities that we have chosen to support are provided below.

The Whitechapel Centre

The  Whitechapel Centre is the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool Region.  They work with people who are sleeping rough, living in hostels or struggling to manage their accommodation.  They are committed to helping people find and maintain a home and learn the life skills essential for independent living.

They prevent and resolve homelessness, social exclusion and housing poverty by providing practical, realistic, tailored support so that each person can find a route out of homelessness, maintain a home and achieve their individual potential.

The Whitechapel Centre is working with an increasing number of people – 2,814 in 2015/16 an increase of 53% over the last 5 years.

The Charity was recently granted the Freedom of the City of Liverpool after more than 40 years of helping some of the city’s most vulnerable people.
