We are ideally seeking a highly motivated individual who can work as part of a team to take up a role as a trainee accountant with our firm. The role is ideally suited to someone who may have just left university and is looking to embark upon their first full time role within the world of employment. The successful candidate will need to have excellent IT skills, should be prepared to work in a team environment and also be prepared to achieve the AAT qualifications in accountancy as part of their initial training. No previous accounting experience is required but it may be advantageous if the candidate has a degree qualification in accountancy, business studies, mathematics or similar.
The starting salary will be £17,000 and benefits will include the following: –
- Invitation to join the company pension scheme upon successful completion of probation.
- Private medical insurance (subject to availability) upon completion of 12 months with the firm.
- Membership fees to the Chartered Insurance Institute paid for by the firm.
- Fully funded AAT accountancy qualification, subject to contractual terms and conditions.
